The success rate of new hires is affected by a number of factors, including the industry, the scale of the company, and the onboarding process. Some research has shown that a 50% increase in output and employee engagement can be achieved through a well-designed onboarding program.

SHRM found that companies with formal onboarding processes had retention rates between 50 and 82 percent higher than those without. Glassdoor found that companies with strong onboarding programs saw a 70 percent increase in output and an 82 percent increase in employee retention.

We reasoned that a higher rate of effective employee onboarding could be achieved by investing in the creation of a systematic onboarding procedure. Investing time and energy into creating a fantastic new onboarding procedure can also increase employee retention and productivity.

These following are required to develop an onboarding process that creates a lasting impression:

  • Personalised QR code with the sender's greeting

  • Clothing with your company's logo, to make them feel like they are a part of the team and to let your employees and customers know that they are a part of your team.

  • Items related to technology, given that we are all currently on the move!

  • Drinkwear, I know it's monotonous! But we all need to consume water!
